Hele Mai - Come!

Far more than just another bar, The Poet and The Patriot is one of those local treasures that helps turn a town into a community. It was founded primarily with the intention of giving the artists of Santa Cruz a place to gather and share their work. That remains its central focus today...and has that commitment ever paid off! I consider it a privilege and a blessing to perform alongside so many passionate and skilled men and women.

I won't even know myself until a couple of hours beforehand exactly when I'm getting on stage, but when I do I'll have a nice 30-minute set in store for you, and in the meantime there's wonderful talent of just about every musical genre during the other slots. So come one, come all (at least those ages 21+)...enjoy great music, great company, and maybe a tasty beverage or two, and support a great local venue that fosters creative life in Santa Cruz.
